  • We had an absolutely fabulous stay at this lovely place. The house itself is beautiful and well equipped. The surroundings are stunning and we discovered a wonderful hiking trail just minutes from the house which took us though many interesting villages. The pool, outside patio and BBQ made for lovely late dining outside. The river running by the property is stunning and is home to families of otters which with patience you can see. Also a great spot for a quiet dip. Also of course there are the amazing vineyards close by….really great to visit. Thoroughly recommend this lovely place!

  • The Millhouse was a perfect start to our vacation, a cozy fire welcomed us after a long journey and the dinner we requested was outstanding! The location is serene and beautiful, our hosts Francisca and Enrique took really good care of us. Place is true to pictures and description and we couldn't ask for anything more!

  • WOW!! What a truly amazing home! We absolutely loved every minute of our stay. Everything was immaculate and just as expected. Henrique and Francesca cooked dinner for us one night; it was outstanding! I highly recommend it! We especially enjoyed our daily visit from the vineyard dogs, Uva and Pirata. We stayed for 3 nights before heading to Porto. Wish would have stayed longer! We look forward to returning soon.

  • A Casa do Lagar, integrada na Quinta de Recião, representa um verdadeiro tesouro escondido num vale do Douro! Edifício novo, de registo arquitetural lindíssimo, com pormenores autênticos e bem equipado. Surge rodeado por vinhas, vista para as montanhas, ladeado pelo Rio Varosa que providencia um constante e apaziguador som da água a correr. Piscina perfeita para tardes de verão em passo lento, com espreguiçadeiras confortáveis. Sítio privado, isolado, mas bem localizado a cerca de 10 minutos da cidade de Lamego, o que permite idas rápidas às compras ou até visitas a essa bela cidade. Possibilidade de encomendar refeição que é levada à Casa, tão saborosa quanto completa e que deu vontade de repetir. Por fim, o casal anfitrião de genuína simpatia, humildade, bem-receber e amor ao projeto. A regressar!

  • A casa é muito bonita e a sua localização da imensa tranquilidade e privacidade. Contacto muito próximo com a natureza, as vinhas e os rios. A casa reabilitada com uma arquitetura cuidada e atenta aos pormenores. Bem equipada, que permite uns dias muito confortáveis para descansar e conectar com a natureza. Anfitriões muito simpáticos e disponíveis! Recomendo!
